We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported our initiative and contributed to helping Ukrainian farmers during these challenging times. Your support has been invaluable to many farms across the country.

Please note that any new donations intended for FARMERHOOD will be redirected to support Alight's emergency operations in Ukraine. These funds will continue to help Ukrainian communities, focusing on critical humanitarian needs across the country.

FROM FARMERS TO FARMERS

Since the beginning of the war, the Ukrainian farmers faced many of the same grave dangers as soldiers when they reaped this year’s harvest. Across Ukraine, Russian artillery and mines have killed tractor drivers. Thousands of acres of ripe wheat have burned from strikes. Fields are pockmarked where incoming shells have left craters. Equipment, storages and other agricultural facilities have been destroyed. Ukraine’s agriculture sector remains acutely vulnerable in the immediate and the long term and farmers have limited ability and willingness to plant for future seasons.

FARMERHOOD is a charity project focused on small size Ukrainian farmers impacted by war. Our mission is to connect farmers across the world via an Farmer-to-Farmer platform to enhance international Farmerhood power and donation support.

FARMERHOOD business model brings together foreign individual farmers, coops and other large organizations who want to help Ukrainian peers maintain their business operations, restore their farms, and support the farm workforce.

We stand with Ukrainian Farmers, and believe in the international agrarian Brotherhood.

WHO WE ARE HELPING

Small size Ukrainian farmers with land in use in range 10-500 ha (25-1200 acres) located in regions impacted by war: de-occupied regions and 50 km zone.

Only validated farmers are avaliable for donations who passed compliance check through Ukrainian land and legal registers, and also US lists of sanctions.

Donation requests are limited to 10-20% of direct cost needs: $50 / $150 per 1 ha for Field Crops and Vegetable producers.

To General Fund

Your donation will be distributed among all registered and validated Ukrainian Farmers impacted by war.

Your donation will be split into two equal parts and allocated in proportion to application budgets: 50% - to applications having already some donations collected to complete it faster and 50% - to applications having no any donations collected.

Additional option for $50k+ Donors: you can select particular Product Category and/or Region to focus allocation of your donation.

US regulations do not allow us to use “direct line donations”. So, your donation will be allocated using random approach to someone like you have selected. For this we will take three Ukrainian Farmers: the one you have selected and two of his neighbors (*) having the same needs.
